WOW!!!
I have been to quite a few plays in my life, but I can't recall ever seeing a musical before yesterday's matinee performance of the Lion King. It was incredible!!!! I loved everything about it, especially the costumes and the way they used the actors as props. Totally cool! I have to thank my mom for taking me, and also my cousin Andrea for not being able to go. Unfortunately for her she was not able to make the show because of a school engagement. My mom had gotten the tickets for Andrea and her two younger sisters, so it was pretty cool that I was able to hang out with them.
We all had such a good time! The play was three hours long and I actually stayed awake for the entire thing! Good thing we saw the matinee and not the late night performance!
Almost as soon as I got home from the play, I went to E's parents house for dinner. His mom made a giant pot of spaghetti and meatballs....enough for at least 50 hungry people! She gave us a bunch to take home for ourselves and also packed up a large container for one of E's friend. So after visiting for a few hours we went to visit E's friend and hung out until I was so tired I practically fell off my stool. Being so active is tiring! I should probably be counting down the days until school is over.....ahh! I am so looking forward to that!! Until then there is much work to be done.
