My intention is not to bore you to tears, but since this is my blog, I am going to make you commiserate with me about my new diet!!
I had already been planning to start making better choices when it comes to food....ya'll know by now that I am the queen of eating yummy foods and going out a lot. Well it became official last night at the gym when my personal trainer handed diet plans to both me and Lanee after our ass-kicking workout. We get to eat 6 small meals a day....if you can even call them meals! More like a small snack. LOTS of protein and very little fats or carbs. Like 1200 calories a day. Can I live off that???? That is probably half of what I am used to! I had 4 egg whites for breakfast, 1/3 cup cottage cheese and a banana an hour later for a mid-morning snack, and then 1 slice low-carb toast and a pouch of tuna (herb & garlic marinated) for lunch. Only three more meals to go! And I am still hungry! But apparently this is going to make my metabolism better. Lets hope so!
My trainer knows me pretty well (he is a close personal friend of E's) and tells me that my goal for now is to have "more good days than bad". So I figure I can watch it all week and have one yummy food day on the weekend!
Having Vegas is a huge incentive for me to lose some weight fast...I hope this gets easier so that I can make it more of a lifestyle type thing.

Well i wish you all the luck on your new diet, diets are something that you just have to get used too..( changing that eating habit). You will be fine and just think after it's all over you will look FAB-B-LOUS!.... all the best wishes....

Good Luck Kristi!!! I am on the same path as you at this moment!!! I quit smoking back in November, put on some weight with that and now I am on a quest to lose weight, get fit, and become healthy. I don't smoke any longer and that is really my push here to get healthy. Time for some changes in my life! :) Good luck to you! Good luck to me! Good luck to us all on this quest.
