Sushi and scrappin'. A great way to celebrate the last day of school!
It was sad...I had to fight back tears at least a hundred times today. These kids mean so much to me!
I met my brother Jeff and his friend Tyler after work and then we went to Ichiban for the all-you-can-eat sushi. I had no idea what to expect since I had never been there before, but it was really cool! The sushi bar is a giant island, with the sushi chefs in the middle, seating for about 20 around the outside. In between the chef and all the hungry people is a moat with little boats traveling around, each carrying a variety of sushi plates. When you see one you like in front of you, you take it! They had tuna, yellowtail, clam, scallops, unagi, octopus, makerel, a variety of diffferent rolls, tuna tataki, soybeans, Japanese salad, and more! We got all that for $25/each and it also included shrimp tempura appetizer and green tea ice cream. What a deal! We tried to get some cool photos of the sushi boats, but it is really hard to tell what you are seeing! This is a boat before it went around a corner, and one in front of me...
Jeff and his buddy Tyler..
I was home early enough that I was able to do all of these Vegas layouts. I love 8 1/2 x 11, single pages....so fast and easy!
This first one is a scraplift of one of my favorite scrapjazz artists, Luvscrappin. This is my first ever scraplift and I will probably use more of her layouts as inspiration! The colors on this are so much brighter IRL!
Here is Heather in front of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Casino in Vegas!
And Rich posing with this Knight statue in front of Excalibur....
And this last one is a work-in-progress that I started at least a mmonth ago, but I cannot for the life of me think of a catchy title. Heather *loves* George W and is a huge supporter. Can anyone help me think of something?
