Broken....

My laptop that is.

I had just gotten to work and put it down on my computer chair when the bag it was in tipped over and the laptop slid out and crashed on the hard floor.

Now it won't power on and I can't get it to do anything.

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Upset doesn't even describe me right now. I am totally sick about it.

I spent the past 2 hours looking for solutions at Dell.com (what a joke) and tech support for my district, but nothing we have tried works.

I am bringing it to Geek Squad over lunch, hopefully they can give me better news without charging me an arm and a leg.  Hopefully my hard drive wasn't damaged, because none of my work documents were backed up. (Most of my pics are backed up on my external HD, Thank God)

I wanted a new computer, but this was not the way I wanted it to happen.  I still owe $400 on this thing and I am planning to buy a car in the next few weeks.  Timing is really bad.

It might be awhile before I can blog again.........

PS. Did I mention that when the computer dropped, a full glass of apple cider spilled all over my desk??

That's the worst! I hope they can fix it for you. Oh, and thanks for your well-wishes. I'm feeling much better now - finally!
