Went shopping at Michael's on Friday during my lunch hour..... I swear I only went to buy some brown ribbon, but in the back of my mind I couldn't help but think about all the enablers at Scrapjazz who had posted that morning about the Cricut being on sale at Michael's. I hadn't ever actually seen it in person until that day, but it looked so cool and it was on sale for $200, down from the MSR price of $300. So I went ahead and bought it. Merry Christmas to myself :)
I also got this sweet new scrap case and spent Friday night organizing and cleaning out my supplies. (After cleaning my house that is!) I am much happier now that I can find everything, and I can easily take (most) of my supplies to scrap with my friends.
There are a bunch of clear plastic cases that velcro to the sides of the tote. I've got all my adhesives, tools, pens, favorite stamps, Primas and other silk flowers, embellishments, buttons, brads in there. I can almost fit my cricut on the top...just don't want to break the zipper.
I also got the smaller matching one to put my stamps and ink pads in. Got them both for 40% off by using the Michael's coupon :) I feel so groovy and organized now!
Once my supplies were organized, I was in the mood to scrap!

And these two I used my new Cricut with the George Font. This machine is so slick!!

I must not have aligned this one correctly when scanning the pages. Oops!
Hoping to scrap again next weekend. Going to be a busy, exhausting week with school conferences every evening and Thanksgiving later this week.
Have a good one!
Those bags are way cool. Love the pink and brown! :) I've never seen the cricut in person, but if it can cut out cool titles like that then AWESOME!

Love the new bags, they're super cute! My hubby bought me the Cricut for Christmas, we got it for a really good deal too. I'm just sad because it's sitting there, looking at me, and I can't use it until after Christmas!!!!! Argh! Oh well, patience is a good thing.....*I wonder if I could tape it back up and maybe he wouldn't notice....*
