It was a beautiful, hot sunny weekend here. We didn't do much this weekend, just took it easy, relaxed and went swimming over at his parents house for most of the weekend. I love, love, love this kind of weather and sitting out, reading a good book. I read The Pact by Jodi Picoult. Very, very good. I just love her books, the stories are so deep. I am currently reading Beach Road by James Patterson.
Being that I have just three more days of work and then will spend the summer blissfully unemployed, reading to my heart's content, I have been thinking about all the books I'd like to read.
Thankfully I just discovered http://www.paperbackswap.com/. This site is so cool, anyone ever hear of it? It might be similar to http://www.bookcrossing.com/, but I think it is easier to use. To start you just need to list 9 books you're willing to part with, and you get 3 credits for books you want to receive. Each time you send out a book, you get a credit. I started off by listing 27 books (I have about 200 more books to list on there) and I will already be mailing two of them out in the morning. I am also expecting my first three books by the end of the week...just in time for my summer vacation to start :) If anyone is interested, I highly recommend this site, it seems incredibly easy and safe. I'd love to be able to swap with people I know, too :) . Make sure to add me as a buddy and use my name as a referrer if you sign up...thanks!
Not much else is new, but I did order a bunch of Love, Elsie papers from www.amillionlittlethings.com . These should also arrive just in time for my summer vacation :)
3 days to go!
Hey Kristi,
We'll be around all summer if you want to drop by. We could always go up to the lake too! Let me know.

That paperbook swap looks cool! I don't think I could do it though, I don't like parting with my books. :(
I really need to pick up a Jody Picoult book, I have yet to read one. I'm reading the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts right now, almost done with the second one. I LOVE this story! Thank you for the recommendation. :)
