My Last Day of Summer Vacation.....

This is it.  The last day of my summer vacation.

How sad!!!!

I know I have said I am happy to be going back to work (I really am!), but I kind of feel like my summer was a waste :(

I did NOT do any of the home improvement projects I had planned to do.

I did NOT go on a fabulous vacation anywhere.

I did NOT get to see 75% of the people I wanted to see.

I did NOT work out religiously (or at all, in fact) or diet in any way.

BUT it was still a good summer.

I DID get to spend a lot of time with my man.

I DID get to sleep as late as I wanted every day.

I DID get to read many great books.

I DID eat out quite often and kept up the restaurant reviews.

I DID take a million photos.

I DID get many scrappies done.

I DID get to see some amazing concerts.

I DID take the next step toward the future of my career (more on that later).

I DID get to rest and relax.

I DID watch TV and movies.

Educators are encouraged to do many of things I was able to do this summer.

I truly DO feel refreshed and relaxed.

I AM ready for the upcoming school year.

I guess my summer wasn't much of a waste after all :)
