Firefox!!!!
I am all about it after recently switching from my long-time friend, Internet Explorer. It seems faster all-around...and who doesn't love that? I was easily able to import all of my bookmarks from IE, which makes life soooooooo much easier!
Two months ago I also switched from Bloglines to Google Reader (by Nicole's recommendation) and I love it sooooooooooo much better! (Of course I am a Google addict...gmail, videos, maps, images....all of it!) You can create folders and organize the blogs you read to make things so much easier and more organized. I have folders for books, photography, photoshop-related, funny mommies, food and holidays, Thoughts for Thursday girls, Hollywood, Scrapjazz girls, cool scrapping chicks, scrap challenges, video, etc. Its great to have them organized like that. And there is no wait time....when someone posts, it shows up in Google reader within minutes, unlike bloglines that takes 30-60 minutes sometimes!! I recommend that those of you use Bloglines make the switch....and you can easily export and import all your subscriptions from bloglines to google reader, so no worries!
One awesome thing about Firefox is that there is a "subscribe" icon (its an orange symbol) right on the address bar if the page/site you are currently visiting has a feed. If you are on a blog you enjoy, just click that orange button and it automatically adds it to whichever RSS feeder you set it to (mine is obviously google reader).
I have found that some pages/sites appear or are formatted a little different when using Firefox than Internet explorer, but I am going to get the hang of it.
So who uses Firefox and who is going to jump on the bandwagon and give it a try??
What about Google Reader? or Gmail for that matter? I LOVE it. Let me know if you want an invite, or you can set one up when you create an account for Google reader.
What other fabulous things should I know about Firefox for those of you tried-and-true users??
I *heart* firefox!!! I stopped using safari and this has been AWESOME!!!!!! I also love google reader. It ROCKS! I like that I can email myself a specific entry!!!

We've used Firefox for the past couple of years and love it. I used to recommend it to anyone who would listen, but now I guess I forget so many people are still using Explorer. Firefox is so much easier, faster, better, etc, etc, etc.
So anyone else on the verge... make the switch... you'll love it!!
I've also been contemplating Google Reader. I actually got set up over there when Nic mentioned it before, but I haven't totally made the switch. I may just have to do that now! Thanks Kristi!

I use firefox and like it a lot better than IE. Our IE was on the fritz about 2 months ago. That's when we made the switch. I just recnelty set up google reader and love it! I'm not into gmail though. There's something about it that I'm just not crazy about. Did you get your MAC yet?

I swear I told you to switch to FF/Google Reader years ago! Firefox is amazing, and Google Reader makes my life a lot easier. Love the subscribe button!

Some Blogger blogs show up wonky in Mozilla, but there is an add-on that you can install to allow you to view in an IE Tab within Firefox. I think you have to sign in again because it won't recognize your Google login, if you want to make a comment on these blogs, but that's not that big of a deal.

I LOVE FIREFOX-- I love the tabs (control t)to look at different pages instead of new windows-- get so frustrated when I am on computers that don't have ff! I will have to look into google reader. I am sure it would save me oddles of time!
Thanks!

I *LOVE* Firefox too! I think my favorite thing is the tabs. Love it! I also love the easy orange subscribe button thingy.
I have a GR account but I haven't fully swapped over. I actually haven't checked that one in awhile.

wow I've never heard of Firefox. Interesting. I've used Gmail for 2 years now and absolutely love it. Been on google reader for a couple months now and I love it. I'm all about easy and no-brainer. lol Now with Firefox, school me. We have 3 computers in this house. 2 desktops & a laptop. If I put firefox on my laptop will it screw up the other 2 computers still on IE? I guess I just don't know how all that works.

I finally got Google Reader set-up and I LOVE IT! I have not heard of Firefox, but I will be looking into it.
I am tempted to start using Gmail, as my Hotmail account is still in my maiden name . . . it's been four years, but I don't want to rush into anything.

I am using the exact same things as you are. Been using Gmail for about 3 years now, Using Firfox for about 1 year now (love the tabs instead of the extra windows, and also love the bookmarks I can have on my toolbar instead of in the dropdown menus), and been using Google Reader ever since I started my blog back in April and love that as well!!
