I am trying to reduce the amount of time I spend blogging, so I am going to condense about 8 posts worth of goodies into just this one.
- Saw Queensryche at Myth on Saturday. Awesome, awesome, awesome. These guys have been around since 1981 and Geoff Tate still sounds as awesome as ever...
Had brunch at my brother Jeff's house on Sunday. He wanted us to come check out the amazing new kitchen in his house that my BFF Mary professionally designed (and whose husband Troy did most of the labor). I have to show you before and after pictures!
Here it is Before the remodel (when Jeff first moved in 3-4 years ago). That 50's kitchen just wasn't too groovy. He put the wood floor in when he first moved in, but almost everything else you see in the "after" pictures are part of the recent remodel.
Here is the kitchen now, After the Remodel (everything finished except the crown molding):
You must check out his backsplash...it is so cool! The island is also way longer than it looks from these pics and contains a wine fridge in the middle. What a great kitchen to entertain in...or as Michelle and I thought when we saw it, "a good place to scrap!" Not the typical bachelor pad, that's for sure!!
I am so proud of Mary and I was very impressed to see her design and vision come to life. Isn't it gorgeous??? You can contact Mary and Troy at Revamp Remodeling
I have to give a couple of birthday shout-outs to my girls Mary and Danielle who both celebrated their Golden 30th Birthdays on Wed. Happy Birthday Danielle! Happy Birthday Mary Ellen! Excited to have the crew together for dinner on Friday! Soooo excited to see Kimmy!!!
Okay, so this didn't turn out to be more than just a couple of posts in one (I omitted my TFT), I guess I'll just have to blog again tomorrow! LOL
Mary did a very nice job! I love the color of the cabinets (my fav in cabinet color)clap! clap! And a wine fridge, how cool. I think I want to live in Jeff and Michelle's kitchen.
