I have had a few in my lifetime, but I have to say that Kevin Garnett is my biggest sports hero. I know he hasn't won a championship (YET-I am hoping this is the year!) , but he is still awesome in my book :)
Other sports heroes I have had in my lifetime include:
- Mary Lou Retton
- Kirby Puckett
- Mike Modano
- Michael Jordan
How about you? Who are some of your sports heroes??
My favorite has to be Warrick Dunn. He is a wonderful, wonderful person! From what I've seen and read anyway :-)

my sports heroes: all-time would have to be michael jordan, it's so sad my kids will never see him play. others include troy aikman, john elway, and the late sergei zholtok of the minnesota wild.

I've actually never idolized a sports figure. I can't say I've idolized anyone famous in particular either. I'm sure I have, but none come to mind. I honestly don't feel that sports excellence is that admirable. Sure, it takes a lot to be an amazing athlete, and I appreciate that, but at the same time, I just don't value that. I like real people who aren't necessarily famous who have amazing talents in other things, like photography, writing or who excel at their job. Just my 2 cents.
