I have never watched Sex in the City. Like NEVER EVER.
That's right, ladies....I am sure you're all gasping in shock and horror.
I am not much of a TV person and I am definitely not a series person. I just cannot accommodate my schedule around a certain TV show, it isn't convenient for me. My life does not revolve around TV and it never will. And I will not start watching a show randomly in the middle of a season unless I have seen the very first episode of the first season.
In fact, I am totally out of it regarding any prime time TV series that have come out in the past 5 years or more with the exceptions of 1. Grey's Anatomy, 2. Eli Stone. These shows are the only ones I have gotten into and only because I either bought them on DVD or watched online. Oh, and That 70's Show is another one I have watched! I almost forgot that one.
So that means I have never watched:
- LOST
- Desperate Housewives
- Will & Grace
- Seinfeld
- Frasier
- Sex in the City
- American Idol (with the exception of Prince's performance a couple of years ago)
Ummm, I am already at a loss....there are hundreds of shows I have never watched. Including everything Reality related. I am sure some of you hate me now, but too bad. I'd rather read a book or be a computer geek :)
ETA: I am ALL ABOUT cable programming....Discovery, History, Travel, etc. This is what I will watch if I am going to bother to watch TV! IMO They have much better shows :)
*GASP* I used to be a non LOST watcher too lol. You NEED to watch LOST....seriously lol

With the exception of LOST & AI, I have never watched any of the above either (maybe a few Frasiers) I am one who always watches a show & loves it or gets in on a show just as it is coming to a wrap! My sister got me hooked on Melrose Place about 6 weeks before it wrapped up-was I bummed! Same thing happened w/ Friends & Will & Grace, think I'll just stick w/ my few faves & the deep spooky stuff the kids like to watch on A & E & History Channel :)

i've never watched lost either... everyone always says it's so good though, so maybe sometime i'll have to netflix it!

I have never watched an episode of Frasier, I don't follow American Idol, Lost or could I even name the characters on Seinfeld. Oh, well. :)
Oh, well. I would rather be doing other stuff too, like you said. :)

I am with you Kristi. I have NEVER watched an episode of Sex in the City or LOST for that matter. I am hesitant to get into any TV series because, like you, my life does not revolve around television. The only show I do watch in a weekly basis is NCIS but it is always taped and I watch it when I have time. I just can't fathom HAVING to be home on a certain night because a certain show is on. Just not for me.

With the exception of a few episodes of Will & Grace, my television watching sounds a lot like yours! I hate trying to get into a series when it has already been on for several years - and likewise, has a hard time ditching it when I start to grow tired of it (would ER just die already?!) I did a few seasons of Survivor pre-kids, but now cannot stomach reality television . . . there is enough drama in my life - I don't need to watch the drama in other people's lives for entertainment!

I'm not a huge tv person either. If we didn't have DVR, the only show I'd ever watch is Desperate Housewives b/c I always ALWAYS make room Sunday night for that show. I do love DVR though so I can record other shows and never have to worry about when they air on tv. At my moms right now, she doesn't have DVR and its so hard to get used to LOL! Especially now that I really have nothing better to do in my spare time than watch tv seeing that most of our belongings are in storage!

I'm only hooked to Grey's Anatomy. There is nothing else that I'm faithful to. We are movie people.......we Netflix like it's going out of style! And at night, if I'm not cleaning, doing laundry, or if there is nothing that I feel like watching........I'm on the computer. I am a certified COMPUTER GEEK!

I am EXACTLY like you!!! I have never seen Sex in the City... I have only seen a couple of episodes of Housewives & Gray's... and only bec my mom had it on... I religiously watched Prison Break for the first season and a half.... but then I got too busy for that too. I hated Seinfeld then... and still do now. I will watch ER if it's on... but usually don't have time. We have a DVR but even if I record something... if I didn't have time to watch it in the first place... odds are I don't have time to watch it later... and Kevin is a total TV hog... he watches what he wants... and I'll sit there until I fall asleep! :) No, honestly, when I do have time to watch TV... I usually look for any episode of Law & Order, bec I don't need to follow the series.
The girls at my work are constantly talking about the TV shows they watch... I just don't feel that I need to consume my life with watching these shows... and then to talk about them over my lunch!

I didn't watch Sex and the City until just a few months ago when I started catching the reruns on TBS or the CW networks. I tend to stay up late when my DH isn't in the house so I would watch it then. I actually love the show now and will be ordering them on DVD. I love the travel channel and food network the most though so with the exception of Ugly Betty and the show Brothers and Sisters I watch a lot of reruns now and then but that's about it on the series shows. OOO I love That 70s Show too...it's "groovy" LOL

I didnt watch SATC either. Mainly because I dont have HBO, and there are soo many shows out there that are hard to just jump right into mid season, or even mid series. before you know it, theres another new series to watch.

I watch a lot of TruTV (Used to be Court TV) but I've watched the shows you listed at least in reruns, although not while popular. I like Medium, CSI, Law and Order, Criminal Minds - so I'm a freak in my own way. :)

I love TV and I am not ashamed to admit it. I am addicted to Sex and the city and have seen the entire series at least 50 times(I own it). I love to laugh as well as be on the edge of my seat and all the shows you listed do that for me. I think you are missing out but that is just my opinion.

I am exactly the same way! I have never seen a single episode of SATC, and I don't plan to. I have never seen any of the "new" reality shows, including American Idol, and I have never, ever seen Grey's Anatomy, House, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, 24, etc. I have SO many other things I'd rather be doing with my time. And you know what, I don't think we are missing out on anything! :)
