I have had too much going on to think up good TFTs lately...I need to find my little notebook so I can jot ideas down as soon as they come to me! LOL
This week's topic is about your ideal sleeping conditions.... I thought of this one after going up north last weekend. My SIL Michelle brought a little fan up with her and said she just can't sleep without it because she likes the "white noise". It reminded me that I used to sleep with a fan on all throughout college and I have now been sleeping with the fan on for the past week and have slept pretty good! A Fish tank is another one... as long as it has a quiet filter, it is kind of soothing to sleep to... I have gotten to enjoy the fan (although I don't need it), but never can I sleep with a radio or TV on. Not a good sleep anyway. I also need the room to be dark...super dark. And somewhat cool, as I would rather snuggle up than be too hot. A/C has to be on at night in summer. Oh...and I use two feather pillows.
Since sleeping is something we all do every night, I thought you'd be willing to share what your ideal sleeping conditions are?
- Do you use something to create white noise? What?
- Temperature level?
- Number of pillows?
Thats about it for today!

Well, I need the fan, as previous stated. I WILL NOT SLEEP without it. I also have 2 pillows, one for my head and one to cuddle. I prefer the room a little warmer as I don't really like to cover up, but I don't like to be hot. I'd rather be cold. There you have it, I'm pretty high maintenence if you ask me!

Hmm.. I have to have my pillow. If Brent steals it I will wake him up to give it back to me. I also have to fall asleep with the TV on. I usually set the timer. We sleep with the fan on. I love it. Oh and the dog is usually right on top of me or Brent. For some reason even though we have a king size bed he has to be right next to us.

I have to have a fan on... I like the white noise, but I also like the air moving a bit. Otherwise I always feel like it's stuffy in the room. I don't necessarily like the fan blowing on me, just the noise and the air movement. I also like it to be cooler in the room... cold even, so I can snuggle up in the blankets. I have a hard time sleeping when it's too warm or I can't have a blanket on.
But even when I'm cuddled up, I have to stick a foot out of the side of the bed! ha!
I can't sleep with the tv or music on either.

Well... I prefer to sleep in the dark... and very quiet, but since we put a TV in our room, Kevin has to sleep with it on. So I haven't been sleeping well since then, although it is getting better. I have to have my tempurpedic pillow, a blanket, and I cannot sleep when it is too warm. But, if it's too cold, Kev steals my blanket (we have to sleep with 2 separate ones!) and then I wake up because of that. I cannot sleep with the dog bec of my allergies, but no matter how many times I wake up to tell her to get off of the bed... she still tries to get on. :)

I don't have a hard time sleeping at all. MY husband gets so jealous because as soon as my head hits the pillow I am out. It doesn't matter if it is dark, hot, cold etc... Although, I have in past hard time falling asleep if my husband falls asleep before me and is snoring.

I like to sleep with a fan, whether it is winter or summer, for the noise, but I've never NEEDED it to sleep. I can sleep with the TV on, but once I wake up in the middle of the night, it has to be turned off or I won't fall back to sleep. I've also always had to be covered, at least with a sheet. I was never comfortable sleeping without covers... until now. Even with the air on and the fan blowing on me, I'm hot. I guess that is pregnancy for ya! I don't sleep with a sheet or blanket right now, I just sleep with my body pillow. I CANNOT sleep without a body pillow, pregnant or not, that is one thing I HAVE to have to sleep.

Right now, Callie still sleeps in our room in a bassinette so I have to have the fan on or I'd hear every little sigh she made! I make Morgan have his on too so that if she is making noise during the night or if I'm up early with her, he doesn't wake up.
I got into sleeping with a body pillow while pregnant and still have to have it. I also have to have the window open all year round, I hate stuffy rooms!

i could fall asleep just about anywhere. seriously. i like white noise only because it drowns out the sound of my hubby snoring. i have one pillow. i like it cooler if possible. i don't like my knees touching so i usually wrap up in my blanket. oh, and i drool but i would prefer not to roll my face into it. is there anyway to prevent this from happening and ruining a perfectly good nights sleep? :)

I like it a little cool, since I have to have some sort of covering on, be it a just a sheet or 5 blankets. I like having the tv on, but it has to be a certain type show, I can fall asleep to mash, what my husband watches, I prefer law and order type shows. Except svu, I started having really bad dreams from that show. I don't mind the fan going, I do likehow it drowns out other noises, but I hate it blowing on me esp. my face. I like to be all cocooned up w/ my face barely showing.

Wow, you do want to know stuff. :) Lets see, I have 2 pillows under my head, one between my knee and one on either side. Cool temps and always a fan, every single night.

Back in high school I used to always sleep with my radio on.. very low! and after Tony and I got together, he hated it! Because it was so low that you couldn't quite hear what was on playing, but loud enough to know it was on. I guess I just wanted some type of noise on. Since then we haven't had anything that had to be on. But about a month ago, I started putting on the ceiling fan for Lukas and now he is hooked on that. He asks for that every time he naps or goes to bed!! lol!

I have 5 pillows. Don't ask how I lived with ONE for 20 years of my life..but now with my queen bed I have to have to create an "L" shape and sleep in the corner of it...like the pillows are protecting me or something...I don't get it. And as long as the lights are off, I can sleep. Good topic.
