I posted this morning about what I thought about this post by Reallotterywinner.com and then deleted it shortly afterward. (Wish I wouldn't have deleted my original post but it was basically asking you to unsubscribe to his blog or to leave him a comment). I have been reading the comments to his post throughout the day today and I see that many of you have left him comments speaking your mind. He also has his rebuttles, but basically he doesn't care that he offended so many with his words. I know he is entitled to say whatever he wants, but I found his words very ugly and took offense to what he said.
Not sure why I am back here posting about this for the 2nd time today, but the topic has lit a fire under me......
PS I have seen that both Nicole and Zoe are also fired up about his post!
Don't worry about it Kritti! He is who he is and he has money to buy more friends, if his little heart desires. Regardless of how someone feels, he was out of line... you know that and that's all that matters. Don't let one little lottery winner get you down - you're a better person than that, and you've learned something in the process: Some people are just idiots.
It's your blog, you can vent if you need! That's what us loyal readers are here for!

Thanks, Ang. I know I shouldn't let his words bother me, but they do. I
really hate Politics but need to believe in our new President

I just read it and commented. Not a big comment, but I figured if I really got going I wouldn't stop. Your first post came into my reader and it was no big deal. Who cares, the dude is an ass and the idiot to think what he does. I am so tired of listening to raging republicans speak of our impending doomsday because we elected Obama. How dumb? Could it get much worse than a recession, war, loss of jobs and homes? I think NOT!

I didn't make it through his post and I figured I didn't need to read him anymore. I'm sick of people complaining about the job he's doing, when he hasn't even started. I certainly am not expecting miracles, but to believe in the "hope" I have that this country can come back together and pull through is being bedazzeled well call me bedazzeled then.

I am still HOT! I strongly believe in free speech and he is entitled to his opinion...but when people spew hate and ignorance I get a bit miffed....

Isn't that such a hard thing? It's without question that our freedom to say and write what we want, knowing it will be protected under the First Amendment is fundamental to our ability to create dialog as a national community. It is essential to the health of the democracy, not to mention the way we are able to hold the politicians we vote for accountable for governing as they campaigned and in our name. However, it is sometimes hard to read said free speech. I clicked on the link, read the title, scanned a bit of what he's written and had already had enough! So, I didn't give it much time. It is sometimes nice to read other peoples' opinions because it gets you thinking outside your box, and helps you better understand the vantage point of others. Still, I know I often can't take my eyes away, even when I wish I weren't interested, and then I stew for days over such "ignorant thinking". Oddly enough, I read something yesterday on the blog of a friend that really upset me. It wasn't political in nature. I felt very upset by it yesterday and still do this morning. Now I have to decide if I want to say anything or just let it go. Anyway, interesting link and discussion topic.

I didn't take any offense to his blog. It is his blog and he is entitled to his IDIOTIC opinion. I did, however, find it odd how upset he was that Obama didn't recite the Lord's Prayer, yet he writes a blog full of hate and bashing people. If he was so concerned about the Lord's prayer, that tells me he is a Christian. A Christian wouldn't be full of hate or come out name calling the way he did. I found that very ironic. This guy obviously is not a true Christian and really could care less about Obama reciting the Lord's Prayer, he just needed something to bitch about!
This country needs change! Obama will hopefully bring some. Can he save America? Probably not. Can he improve things over night? Nope! But I do have hope he can improve some things in this country in the next 4 years. Why bash the guy before he has even started?

I unsubscribed to his blog a long time ago. He seems like a phoney and his BS with winning the lottery is just his way to get readers to his blog.
And this post did exactly what he set out to do. Make EVERYONE talk about him, post about him and get more readers to his blog.

Hey everyone, sorry if I upset some of you, I get passionate sometimes. I wanted to remove the post from the site, but I sold it. Apparently the site was a hot commodity and I didn't even know it. Worst part though, they haven't done anything with it! Oh well, their money (well, my money now) Love your blog!
