Day 77 ~ Historic Fort Snelling

Spent my lunch break today at Fort Snelling.  Fort Snelling was built in 1820 where the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers come together.  The land was traditionally an area where Dakota and Ojibwe people met for trade but later became property of the US Gov't.  The city of St Paul built up a few miles east of Fort Snelling.
